Noisepoetnobody is an all hardware electronic artist with professional experience on slide guitar, samplers, modular synthesizers, MIDI and voltage control sequencers, lots of digital and analog effects processors, loopers, and objects wired to contact microphones. While some past recording and performance relied heavily on digital sequencing and working with IDM / industrial influenced beats, recent endeavors lean more toward home made instruments and improvisation on old style modular synthesizers. Often working with butoh dance as a source for direction, inspiration and outlet for live performance, sometimes large scale theater with up to 15 dancers. It is impossible to sum up in a short biography the full list of contributions Noisepoetnobody has made to the Seattle / Portland music community in the last 12 years and he currently is active booking a monthly event showcasing ambient and drone based music. As well as playing out solo, and with collaborators like Vance Galloway, he is also in the band Lube Fondue (with wife Briana Jones) that has released two albums to date.
Before catching the attention of Lens Records in the winter of 2009, Noisepoetnobody (aka Casey Jones) had already completed 12 albums with other artists, has been on four other independent labels (like Entropic Advance & Noancer), appeared as a guest artist on several other albums (with Xaxis Wye) and played in large and small venues thru-out the west coast. Noisepoetnobody has self-produced 7 solo albums and 3 more albums with collaborators. Noisepoetnobody has performed in a broad range of venues including night clubs, theaters, art museums, clothing optional fairgrounds, rental halls, abandoned buildings, community centers, broadcast studios, ritual ceremony temples, taverns, masonic halls, barns, tea houses, store fronts, park gazebo's, dance studios, restaurant lounges, and espresso cafes.
